A documentary about Spanish cities is broadcast in 4K on TVE
The broadcast tests of the public channel with Cellnex Telecom allow to broadcast in 4K quality by DTT from this Wednesday
Cellnex Telecom collaborates with RTVE in the broadcast of the documentary series 'Spanish cities heritage of humanity', which the infrastructure operator will broadcast in 4K UHD from its broadcasting centers of Torrespaña (Madrid), Collserola (Barcelona) and Valencina (Seville), demonstrating once again that Ultra High Definition is possible in DTT.
'Spanish Cities World Heritage' is a documentary series, recorded in 4K, which shows the historical and cultural wealth of the 15 cities of Spain declared World Heritage by Unesco. In these 15 chapters in which the monumental heritage and the tourist and cultural offer of these cities will be shown.
Emissions calendar
Of the 15 Spanish cities heritage of humanity that star in this documentary series, during 2016 the chapters corresponding to Ávila Santiago and Segovia have been produced. These three episodes will be broadcast on Wednesdays at seven in the afternoon on 4K broadcasts on DTT according to the following agenda:
· 'Ávila', Wednesday, December 21 at 7:00 p.m.
· 'Santiago de Compostela', Wednesday 28 December at 7pm.
· 'Segovia', Wednesday, January 4 at 7pm.
Simultaneous transmission Madrid-Barcelona-Seville
Cellnex Telecom will carry out a simultaneous broadcast from the broadcasting centers of Torrespaña (Madrid), Collserola (Barcelona) and Valencina (Seville) thus allowing to visualize in the three cities the set of documentaries about 'Spanish Cities World Heritage' produced by RTVE.
The reception channels will be the following:
· Madrid: Channel 32
· Barcelona: channel 43
· Seville: channel 36
The emissions in DTT tests in 4K that have an approximate coverage of 10 million people in Madrid, Barcelona and Seville.

Since that date RTVE has made different productions in 4K, which have been used for these broadcasts, both with recorded material and live.
