Twitter shows tweets by relevance
The social network is testing the disappearance of the retuit button and changing it to a new logo with more features
Twitter continues to improve the user experience, to avoid the stagnation of the number of accounts. On this occasion, the microblogging network has introduced a new change in the order in which the tweets appear on the homepage, now based on the relevance they have for the user.
The change has been introduced progressively in recent months, with several tests and algorithm changes, in order to change the reverse chronological order in which the tweets were displayed until now.
This novelty is due to the fact that in the social network they have realized that "the most recent results may not be what users are looking for," as they explain in the press release published on their blog.
Total renovation
The change in the presentation of the messages in the Timeline and the arrival of the direct to the application, are not the only changes. The network is also testing more radical changes.
The first rumors that have reached the network itself is the disappearance of one of its most famous buttons: the retuit.
Many users have seen how the two arrows in square were transformed into a small circle with an arrow diagonally inside. In addition this new button offers new functions added.
From the current functions such as the retweet itself and the retuit by appointment now add within the drop-down that opens this button, other options such as send as a direct message and share a tweet.
